Well As you can see in the above diagram, condenser mic consists of two electrically charged diaphragm/backplates which used to make sound-sensitive capacitor, the sound waves from the air vibrates the diaphragm/backplates which leads to generation of electric chage on the diaphragm/backplates and that’s how condenser microphone work.

Advantage of condenser microphone

Condenser microphones are most commonly use in studios. They have a much higher frequency adaptability and transient response, which is the ability to reproduce the “speed” of an instrument or voice. They also generally have a louder output but are much more sensitive to loud sounds.
